1. Please keep an active copy of your character's profile posted either in the userinfo or within their journal.
2. Within a thread, don't use one-liners. If you're writing a log on AIM, they're surely more acceptable, but please don't respond to an open post with one or two sentences.
3. Don't godmod or play someone else's character(s).
4. Don't bitch to anyone butmodacious.
5. Grammar! Use it. Or try, at least.
6. CHARACTERS - you can play as many as you can manage. It is encouraged to play more than one, so go ahead if you would like. As for 'played bys', you can use singers, actors, models, etc, but check the taken page before choosing one. They may already be taken.
7. Please make sure to join communities, and not just friend them. To join them, in the userinfo of the community at the top, there is a link that says "to join, click here" - click there for both of them. You can add all members of this community by going to the F-LISTER and entering your journal name(s) while logged in.
8. When posting in a thread, please be courteous and wait until others in the thread that are involved have posted before you continue to reply. You can post an OOC reply and ask if you can carry on, or IM/e-mail the missing party. If someone is keeping a thread from moving, however, you should contact them and encourage them to post their reply if they haven't given any warning or heads up that they will not be able to post. Each of your characters will only be allowed two active threads at a time. You can always give them journal entries or do a log (this means no comments) entry.
9. You or your characters should post an IC or OOC message at least once a week, or come in contact (via e-mail or IM) with one of the mods once a week if you cannot post to the communities. After one week, you will be contacted via AIM or e-mail, and after two weeks, your characters will be added to the available list. If you have a family emergency or a vacation, please try to let us know. Your characters will be fine until your return. If you did/do not contact us and return after two weeks, and your characters are still available, you can begin playing them once more.
10. This isn't a rule, but please, if you would like to - introduce yourself and tell us a little about you on the ooc community. We'd love to know the players behind the characters. :)
